Today nothing was going right!!! I had to go shopping and it was raining. I left with my basket on wheels. I went to the bank’s  to update my account. I pulled out a tissue so I wouldn’t touch the keyboard with my fingers. Once the transaction was completed, I put on my mittens to open the door at the branch. I was exhausted just thinking about everything I had to do. I have to think about my actions all the time. Finally, I go out and it’s raining. I got wet. I’m so tired all of a sudden that I went home. I said to myself « To hell! I will try again tomorrow!  »

I go back home and then, I take care not to touch the door handle with my hands which was not disinfected. I open it with my elbow and I close the door in the same way. I took my boots off, and I washed my hands for at least twenty seconds if not more. Then after, I had to disinfect the handle of my wheel basket, my wallet that I took from the bank, my cell phone, etc. It doesn’t end any more! And what else!!! When I read it again, I have the impression that I lost it!!! I may be doing too much. But I know I started to cry when my friend called me after all this disinfection scenario.

Just before, I went to take out my little dog. I bought plastic bags for my dog’s needs. They are made in China. In Montreal we opened stores called Dollorama in which we find almost everything. Most of the products come from China. So, made in China. And it’s not worth much!!! In any case, those stores were encouraged Chinese people in China during the 1980s. To go back to my bags that I bought at this store for my dog, well I open the bag and I take a roll and I pull so that the bags detach from each other. And as a matter of fact, they all tear each other apart! So much for it. They are broken!!! So badly done!!!

I was really not in a good mood because the store does not take back defective products. I became angry with this said country. In addition, last night on the news, they said that Canada was awaiting an order for a mask and equipment from China, which, according to experts, is poorly manufactured and does not meet Canadian standards. When are we going to stop being dependent on Asia once and for all !!! Especially from China!

I know that in Quebec our seamstresses have given themselves the watchword to make masks and clothing for first aid workers and others. They asked the Premier of Quebec to provide them with the right materials and that they would get started right away and on a volunteer basis!!! I hope that we will come back to producing our own clothes and everything in Canada as before because the quality was much higher than what we are sold today. And it’s so badly done!!! I buy a pair of boots and one foot fits me and not the other. I put them side by side and they are not the same size! But they are made in China.

Our governments, the producers, and so on, wanted to pay less for labor and really pay less! China is making its kids work hard for our products and the blame falls on them. This whole situation must end with America and Europe. Let China settle between them.

I’ve been thinking this way for years. With the situation in which we are currently living I sincerely hope that the « change » everyone is talking about, I hope that this « change » will be part of their plan by creating jobs in Canada because We understand that there are going to be people who will lose their businesses, their jobs. We will see what will happen with the collateral damage that will occur as a result of the pandemic.
