I can say that Microsoft they are the best!

They ‘ve been helping me the second time around with my Window 7 that I bought at Insertech ten years ago.

I had problems with my Lenovo ThinkPad from the beginning of the purchase and now, it’s at the end of the security life of Windows 7.

I’ve been hacked from the beginning with this computer. When I left Insertech, I called Lenovo and they called me back. I found out later that they never did. The same with Microsoft.

So after having some problems, I called Microsoft and while the tech was in my computer he was working on some files and in the same time he was making me work to assist him.

Now then I think of it, I was having some corrupted files on my system and he put the maximum security on it. And also I had Malwarebytes and Avira. But they were not working because I had to many of them. They were cancelling each other.

After all that, everything was fine.

I think it’s about the three last days just passed, Windows update ask me to download an important security file and some optionnals files. So, I agree especially because it’s the end of the security updates for Windows 7 around January 10.

I downloaded them and not long after, I started to have some Windows pops up like they did not recognize the system 32 exe. files and all the environment of the programs.

It’s at that time I started to be suspicious. Also, I just find out that my key product was not activate. So it meant that my Window 7 professional was not guenuine anymore. It was a copy.

It’s been three days that I hardly sleep. I was obstinate to find the problem. Let me tell you, I learned a lot through reading the problems people go through. It’s very similar to mine.

So I call at Insertech this morning but they were not very cooperative. Just asking where it was written the key product on my computer and they didn’t know. They were obstinating me by telling me to bring my computer and they said they would charge me to insert the key code properly. I told them to help me to find the key and where I had to activate my Windows 7 again. I told them how much I was desappointed with them. They don’t care. They are big now!

Anyway! All to say that my system is been corrupted! I’m waiting for finishing download from Microsoft.

By the Grace of God, they will reinstall Windows 7 Professional again. He saw from his office that my key code was activate and not on my side. I need to continue working on it because I bought some machines to transfer analog work to digital and Windows 10 is not ready for those software yet.

So I’ll continue working on my Windows 7 as long as I can keep it. It’s already ten years I have it and I don’t want to throw away things just to throw them away because I cannot fix a problem on it.

I know there’s a lot of people who get rid of it and go buy a new one because it doesn’t work for several reasons or maintenance.

I know I’m not the only one in that position but when I can be help I really appreciate it!
